Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our client's dynamic team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and generating actionable insights to drive business strategies and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, define project requirements, and identify data sources.

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from diverse sources to ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations in the data.

  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms, predictive models, and data-driven solutions to solve business problems and optimize processes.

  • Conduct hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and model validation to evaluate model performance and accuracy.

  • Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to deploy models into production systems and integrate data pipelines.

  • Stay updated with the latest data science techniques, tools, and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Machine Learning Engineer) are a plus.

  • 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, predictive modeling, or a related role, with a strong background in statistical analysis and programming.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data manipulation and visualization libraries (e.g., pandas, matplotlib, seaborn).

  • Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, techniques (e.g., supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning), and model evaluation methods.

  • Knowledge of data mining, natural language processing (NLP), and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is desirable.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
