Position Overview

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Data Security Analyst to join our client's dynamic team in Germany. As a Data Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in securing clients' digital assets and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify risks and vulnerabilities in clients' systems.

  • Develop and implement data security policies and protocols to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

  • Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.

  • Configure and maintain security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and encryption solutions.

  • Conduct security awareness training for clients' employees to promote cybersecurity best practices.

  • Stay informed about the latest cyber threats and technologies to enhance clients' security posture.

  • Participate in incident response activities, including forensic analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity. Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.

  • 4 years of experience in data security analysis or a related role.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment methodologies, and GDPR compliance.

  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and encryption protocols.

  • Proficiency in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
